Are you a passionate façade engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Stantec is expanding our Façade Team and we’re on the lookout for a Senior Façade Engineer to join us in London or one of our offices in the South-East.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing team and deliver technically challenging and visually impactful projects across the UK and beyond.

As a Senior Façade Engineer, you’ll lead on the design, analysis, and delivery of innovative façade systems, working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to bring bold visions to life. From sleek curtain walls to complex cladding systems, you’ll play a central role in crafting high-performance, sustainable envelopes that marry form and function.

You will lead and managing façade projects from concept to completion, designing systems including cladding, glazing, precast, and curtain wall solutions. 

You will perform structural analysis and calculations for façade performance and safety, with a focus on quality, performance, and sustainability.

You will prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation, reviewing contractor submissions and ensuring construction aligns with design intent. You will conduct site visits and inspections to support quality and resolve technical issues.

About You

You will ideally have a degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline and be working toward chartership in a relevant field. You will also have the following:

• Significant technical experience in façade design and engineering.
• Deep knowledge of façade systems, construction techniques, and materials.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools. Revit experience is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of UK building codes and facade-related standards.
• Organised, proactive, and confident juggling multiple projects.
• Passion for sustainable design and innovative façade solutions.
