Your role:
We are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant for our Infrastructure team to be based in either Bristol, London or Manchester, joining our 2025 Graduate Programme.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your transport planning expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
The Opportunity
You will be part of a team which is spread across London, Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, with the primary objective being to provide advice with respect to noise and vibration to a wide variety of internal and external clients and stakeholders. You would join the existing Stantec UK Acoustic team which operates across the UK and in Europe, and work alongside colleagues in the wider Environmental Services team and Stantec's’ Engineering, Buildings, Infrastructure, Transportation and Planning Teams.
We are undertaking projects across sectors such as major infrastructure, residential schemes, commercial, arts, energy & waste, regeneration, environmental & planning, and we are currently supporting some of the country’s most significant projects.
Assisting with technical input into a variety of projects, your duties could include:
- Visiting sites to undertake noise and vibration surveys
- Undertaking acoustic calculations
- Creating acoustic models using specialist software to calculate sound levels.
- Preparing acoustic reports
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to arrange site access and communicating acoustic requirements.
