We are currently seeking Project Administrator within our Finance team to join us in our Reading office. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving multi-disciplinary consultancy business, located in the heart of the city centre and a short walk from the train station.

You will be responsible owning a portfolio of projects assigned by the Project Accounting Lead, ensuring that projects are correctly initialised, and that transactions associated with the project are correct and processed & controlled properly in line with Stantec's group accounting policies and control standards.
Key elements of the role include close collaboration with project managers to maintain integrity over an assigned portfolio of projects; ensuring projects are setup in Oracle with the correct client approved value, billing rates and other variables required to ensure proper revenue recognition; generating, finalising and issuing client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the contractual terms for each project; and collaborating with Stantec’s RNet finance team in Pune, India to ensure timely delivery and accurate completion of tasks they support.
About You:
Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills are essential to the role. You will also have an enquiring mind and a confident, proactive approach with good attention to detail.
You will ideally have a working knowledge of Project Accounting obtained through experience and/or education. Strong IT skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams & Outlook are essential. A knowledge of Oracle software packages and Sox experience are desired but not essential.
