Stantec’s four key values are:

  • We are driven to achieve;

  • We are better together.

These values describe perfectly how we work together in the Environmental Consultancy UK team; supporting each other and guiding clients to achieve project requirements, and we do what is right designing with Communities in Mind, whilst seeking the best environmental and social outcomes.

As such, we are currently seeking Environmental Planners from a Senior level through to Senior Associate to join our team permanently. You will support the development of more junior members of the team and play an important role part in the growth of the team.

You will contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids as well as the financial management of our project work.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary environment, giving access to a broad knowledge base with the support of experts across the business. It is anticipated that the role will include supporting the delivery of a broad range of environmental planning work streams, to deliver integrated environmental services.

About You

You will have a broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, Excellent knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning, Planning Act, Hybrid Bill, DCO etc.)

You will have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, a track record of financial management of projects and excellent communication skills at all levels.
