In our role as Strategic Solutions Partner, Stantec is working with Southern Water and their partners to develop innovative, sustainable and efficient solutions for their needs. We are looking for driven individuals who think differently and love to challenge conventional thinking to join us in a growing, collaborative team of likeminded engineers working to meet the unprecedented industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges.

Our Project Management team are expanding due to our ongoing growth within our Frameworks and now we are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing multiple projects as part of a wider programme and portfolio of work. The role will initially be undertaken via remote working, with the occasional site visit, however upon re-opening of the client offices there is the potential/likelihood for the role to be based out of Southern Water’s Falmer office for a minimum number of days/wk. 
As the Project Manager, you will be working closely with our technical and commercial teams as well as building close relationships with the client’s internal and external stakeholders. You will be delivering projects from cradle to grave and will ensure that they are delivered on time, to cost and of a high quality. 

About You

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline and be working towards or have gained Chartership with a relevant professional body. It is also desirable that you have, or are working towards, an appropriate Project Management qualification such as APM PMQ.

Supporting a dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering for the client’s needs throughout all stages of the project life cycle for various water projects. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside our technical teams and will be involved in the preparation of project bids, planning, working to stringent timescales and adhering to budgets. As well as this, working closely with the client on and off site will be required to ensure project delivery is assured.
