We are currently looking for a Senior to Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to join us. You will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team made up of 80 personnel from Stantec across 8 UK offices and a team in Pune, Yorkshire Water and other consultant/contractor partners, collaborating to deliver Yorkshire Water’s AMP 7 programme of works. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, providing opportunities to diversify your experience and contribute to industry leading projects provide. 

You will work alongside Project Managers, Framework Managers and Project Technical Leads to provide technical expertise and ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and Stantec expectations. This is an opportunity to play a key role in our urban drainage teams taking on multiple small projects or large programs of work for our clients. 

 

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of Infoworks ICM.

You will provide guidance, training, and promote staff development within the discipline. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring technical governance and best practices are upheld. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.

The successful candidate will have experience in the management of staff and staff development as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus.
