Talent Acquisition Specialist - 12 Month FTC

It’s an exciting time to join Stantec’s Talent Acquisition team.  We are a collaborative and close knit team spread across the UK.  To reach our growth projections we are expanding our Talent Acquisition function to support our 1600 + UK & Ireland workforce. 

We are now seeking a mid level Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team for an initial 12 month FTC.  This is a hands on, roll your sleeves up type Talent Acquisition role. Based in the any of the following locations (London, Reading, Manchester, Warrington or Edinburgh)  you will recruit for a mix of graduate/apprentice and experienced hire roles, managing the end to end process.  You will devise direct hiring strategies and develop candidate pipelines and talent communities for future requirements. 

On occasions you will work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to undertake search assignments for senior level assignments.

About You

You will possess proven Talent Acquisition experience, gained within a recruitment agency and in-house environment, ideally within the engineering or construction industry.  As a confident communicator you will have proven ability successfully managing and influencing key stakeholders. 

Finally you will have proven experience successfully managing a high volume, direct sourcing portfolio in a fast paced deadline driven corporate environment.  You thrive working at pace.  You pride yourself on being responsive, have a strong attention to detail and are eager to join an organisation that have ambitious growth plans in place.
