Currently we are looking to recruit a Wastewater Network Modeller to work from home, Redditch or the Midlands area. This is an opportunity to join a hardworking team to work on wastewater projects during a time of exciting growth.  

Day to day, you will work within a team tasked with creating and developing network models to support the feasibility, scoping, and implementation of leading edge projects and programmes of work. A key part of this role will involve consulting with our clients and customers to undertake wastewater model verification and optioneering. You will also provide support to Project Managers and Team Leaders by providing technical expertise to ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and Stantec expectation. 

Working as part of a team you will be involved in a variety of schemes including model build and verification, using existing or new models to understand system performance and using the model to help the design of system improvements and enhancements to Wastewater Networks. 
About you
To be considered in this role, you will have experience with urban drainage modelling software and wastewater feasibility studies. You must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant subject. You must also be working towards chartership with a relevant engineering institution i.e. CIWEM, ICE. The team mainly utilise ICM modelling software, MapInfo, ArcGIS and in-house support tools. Working knowledge of ICM and GIS tools will be necessary to succeed in this role.
Experience with 2D modelling, integrated urban drainage modelling, growth impact studies and option modelling would be advantageous. Most importantly, you’ll embody our values and ethos of client focus and service excellence.
